You've just received your kuksa, here are a few tips:

When you receive your kuksa, I know you just want to use it! But there are a few things you need to know before using it.

• When you take your kuksa out of the parcel, you'll notice that the wood of the cup is cold. This is to be expected, given that it has just traveled many kilometers in trucks, trains and even planes!
• You need to wait for the wood to warm up to room temperature before using your kuksa.
• If you use your cup straight away without waiting for the wood to warm up, you run the risk of the wood cracking from thermal shock.
• You can run your kuksa under lukewarm water to warm up the wood more quickly. But then dry the cup immediately with a cloth to prevent the wood from absorbing the water. Then pour your favorite drink into it and enjoy!
